Landmark designation of First Presbyterian Church

Lifelong resident and city historian spoke in favor, calling the Tudor church the most identifiable landmark in Glen Cove and noting even its new congregation supports landmarking.

Architect and Landmarks Commission chairman strongly urged the council to move forward, noting the church has had only interim protection since a decades-old stopgap application was never completed.
